150 Blankets Donated to Child Advocates

Here is one of the winners of a PCSAO "Rising Up & Moving On" award with her new MVOB blanket.

My Very Own Blanket donated 150 blankets to the September 2018 Conference of the Public Children Services Association of Ohio (PCSAO). PCSAO advocates for safe children, stable families, and supportive communities.

The three-day conference drew more than 500 Ohio child protection professionals, who took bags of blankets back to their agencies to take to foster kids in their counties.

Blankets were also given at the conference to winners of the PCSAO "Rising Up & Moving On" awards. The awards are given to young people who have come through the foster care system, overcome many challenges and are successfully moving toward independent living.
