​Special Blanket Kits and Tags for Rotary Members

We are blessed by our active partnerships with Rotary Clubs all over Ohio, and we would like to include Rotary members in other states and countries in our mission to provide comfort and love to children in foster care everywhere! 

  1. There are 3 ways that Rotary members can participate: 
  2. 1. make a no-sew fleece blanket
  3. 2. sew, knit or crochet a blanket
3. make a donation

1.  Make a No-Sew Fleece Blanket
Our blanket kits are just $12.65 and include pre-measured and cut fleece (1.5 yards) with sample fringe cut at each end of 2 opposite sides of the blanket, our special Rotary tag already attached to a back corner, a fringe-cutting template and instructions.

​2.  Sew, knit or crochet a blanket and attach our special tag
If you can sew, knit or crochet blankets, we would love to share your beautiful creations with children in foster care.  Once your blanket is complete, just attach one of our special Rotary tags to the back.  They are $.70 each; order below.

3.  Make a Donation
If making a blanket is not for you, we encourage you to make a donation to be used where it's most needed.

Interact Clubs
Does your club support a high school Interact Club?  More ways to get involved inspiring our youthful service minds and hands! The Worthington Kilbourne Interact Club below, sponsored by the Dublin-Worthington Rotary Club, created 25 blankets in December 2025.
You have finished some blankets.  What to do with them?
Our goal is to donate blankets to children in foster care in the area in which the blankets were made. ​ If you do not live in Central Ohio, use our DELIVERING BLANKETS link to find a children's services or other agency in your area to receive the blankets you make.

If you cannot find an agency near you,  please contact us at [email protected]. We will help you locate a nearby organization who can use your blankets. 

However you choose to participate with MVOB, know that we are very grateful for your support and that you have helped to provide comfort and love to children in foster care.
