Happy Trails for Kids Winter Camp

We were happy to contribute to Happy Trails for Kids' overnight winter camp for children living in foster care.  Below is the thank you note we received from the organization.

Dear Friends,
Thank you to all of our incredible partners, supporters and organizations who helped make Winter Camp such a wonderful experience. As a result of this collective effort from our amazing community, hundreds of children in foster care had an extra special holiday season.
 
Campers boated, spent time with horses, participated in woodworking, arts and crafts, ropes and zipline, singing, and too many other fun activities to list. Smiles and laughter were at every turn. Our staff gave it their all and were a force of positivity and support. Following our winter dance - thanks to our holiday helpers - campers returned to their cabins to find holiday gifts on their beds. There were screams and tears of joy as children opened presents that were purchased just for them. It was truly a winter wonderland.

An enormous thank you to the Painted Turtle and their amazing staff for helping to elevate the experience and activities offered to our program. Finally, to every person who contributed to our winter camp and holiday effort, THANK YOU. We greatly appreciate you sharing your time and resources to bring positive holiday memories for the hundreds of children in foster care who make up our camp family.
