Anna created the idea for a blanket birthday party as part of earning her Girl Scout Silver Award in June 2021. We were happy to be partners with Anna in providing comfort and love for children in foster care.

Celebrate your birthday in a non-traditional way, by helping others in your community!
Invite friends and family to support you by giving the gift of a “no-sew” fleece blanket making kit for you to make in honor of your birthday for children and teens in foster care and in need near you!
Invite friends and family to support you by giving the gift of a “no-sew” fleece blanket making kit for you to make in honor of your birthday for children and teens in foster care and in need near you!
- We will set up a special webpage for your celebration that contains your invitation, photos, instructions, and a link for blanket kit orders. There will be a direct "Happy Birthday" link to your page on our main menu. See example page
- You can send the link to your guests to place their orders, no matter where they live. We will ship the blanket kits to you.
- You can make the blankets, or if you wish, you can host a gathering of friends who live near you so you can work on the blankets together.
- Set a goal! We will track the orders and post the progress on your celebration page.
- When your blankets are completed, donate them to a local agency! See our list of agencies organized by state and county.
