NBC4 News in Columbus features MVOB and Blanket Angels
In late 2022, Jessica Rudolph participated in a podcast, Fostering Change, with the founder of Comfort Cases, Rob Scheer. Hear the story of the founding of MVOB, the evolution of the special tags, the plans MVOB has to expand into other countries and how people across the U.S. can get involved in our mission. The Fostering Change podcast sponsor is Comfort Cases, one of our non-profit partners. A handmade blanket, and other comfort and personal care items, are included in each of the backpacks they provide for youth entering the foster care system, who often have to carry their belongings in trash bags. Your blankets help make these backpacks something of "their very own" that comforts the children on their often-traumatic journey through the foster care system.
