Sixth grade basketball players and cheerleaders make blankets

The Warhawks Youth Basketball Association sixth grade players and cheerleaders in Westerville, Ohio held a blanket-making event in January. They made 25 blankets for A New Leaf, a local foster care agency. Lori, a foster Mom who attended the event, fosters 3 children from A New Leaf. All of them came to her with a blanket from MVOB! ​

Eagle Scout project in Brooklyn

We were very pleased to partner with Chad, Life Scout for Troop 396 of Brooklyn, New York, on his Eagle Project. Chad chose to lead a group of volunteers in making 50 blankets for MVOB and donating them to MercyFirst Foster Care in Brooklyn. Many thanks to Chad for organizing and leading this project that will benefit 50 children living in foster care in Brooklyn.
