Blankets & Brew
Join us for these fun casual events held at some of Columbus' finest craft breweries. You can enjoy food and beverages while making a "no-sew" fleece blanket for kids in foster care! Sponsor a “no-sew” blanket for $10! It takes less than an hour using only a pair of scissors (and even less than that if you choose from one of our “pre-cut” fleece)!
Meetup & Make Blankets
We have an exciting new partnership with a MeetUp group called Meet-2-Matter, organized by Edy DeGood. They meet twice a month, evenings and Saturday mornings, at our workshop to make “no-sew” fleece blankets.
If you have wanted to make some blankets for MVOB but can’t get to our workshop on weekday mornings, these events are for you! New members of the group are always welcome.
This is a super easy and fun way to give to Ohio children in need. All you need to do is bring yourself and $10 (cash, check or credit card) and we will show you exactly what to do. One blanket can be completed in 40 to 45 minutes.
